The TLDR: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Ring, Z Flip 6 ANNOUNCED!
Didn’t have time to watch the Samsung Unpacked event? Here’s a recap of everything announced that I’m excited about! If you’re interested in preordering anything listed, I’ve got direct links below which are affiliate links, so they also help my channel without costing you anything extra. Plus each link includes special preorder deals.
Samsung has a slew of new devices, and while I don’t have these in hand to review yet or give you first impressions, I am super excited to break down what we have to look forward to.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6
First up, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6! This one got very few upgrades over the fold5, but it is lighter and brighter. It’s slightly wider, with a 6.3-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal screen. I stand by my previous foldable reviews when I say the external display was too skinny, which made it hard to use for more than just a few simple tasks. Samsung listened and apparently people agreed. Not only does it come with a bigger display, but this foldable is packing some other upgrades like a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and up to 2,600 nits of brightness which matches the S24 Ultra! But heads up, the starting price is going up to $1,899 and the camera specs seem the same as the previous fold. We finally get a pretty color option - pink - as well as the generic prosumer tech colors.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6
Next is Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. This clamshell flippy is getting some sweet lookin upgrades! We're looking at a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB of RAM, a 50MP main sensor, and a larger 4,000mAh battery. Plus, the design is going uniform, meaning your chosen color is going to be everywhere - sides, hinge, and back cover. Just like the Fold 6, there's a price bump here too, with the Z Flip 6 starting at $1,099.
The Z Flip 5 included a much bigger and more practical external display, so I’m happy to see that trend continue. I’m bummed they took away the pretty Lavender color option for the Flip 6, but we do get a pop of color with a new Peach option.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and 7
Moving on to something for the wrist, we've got the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Series 7. The Watch Ultra is a 47mm size, titanium casing, and a whopping 590mAh battery. It is the first ever Ultra watch with a Galaxy Energy Score and Galaxy AI, plus it’ll have 100 m water resistance and will come in 3 colors: gray, white, or silver. Many bands will be available and this’ll put you back $649.99.
The Series 7 watches will have 40mm and 44mm sizes, each with impressive battery life and health tracking features. These will also include Galaxy AI and the Galaxy Energy Score. It’s gotten increased storage, up to 32GB, 3 band styles from Samsung, and costs $299.99.

Samsung Galaxy Ring
Okay, this one is super exciting - Samsung's first-ever smart ring! The Galaxy Ring is going to come in silver, black, and gold, with sizes ranging from 5 to 13, 9 sizes in total, in a titanium form factor. This little ring is going to pack in features mainly for health tracking.
The Galaxy Ring will have Galaxy AI and 3 sensors, and be able to track sleep, heart rate, your energy levels, exercise and more. Plus it’ll also have sleep coaching and 100m water resistance.
I found it interesting that the energy score will give you recommendations for daily improvements for overall health. The energy score, rated from 0-100 will be influenced by a daily measurement of sleep, activity, heart rate and more. The Sleep AI algorithm and sleep analysis will give you sleep scores based on heart rate, respiratory, movement, time in bed, and sleep latency.
Everything can be monitored through Samsung’s health app on any Android phone.
In terms of battery life, this is a 24/7 wearable without a screen, so it’ll have multiple days battery life depending on the size - Samsung tells us that will be up to 7 days for the 12/13 sizes, and 6 days for the 5-11 sizes. The charging case is included, and can charge your ring on the go. The full charge time is 80 minutes. How do you find your size? These aren’t traditional ring sizes, so Samsung will send you a sizing kit as a part of the ordering process.
The Galaxy Ring is $399.
Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro
Last but definitely not least, let's talk audio with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These earbuds are getting a fresh new design with stems, much like the AirPods, but with Samsung's Galaxy AI. Expect improved microphone positioning for better calls and voice prompts, plus a snug fit. These will be $280.
Galaxy AI
Galaxy AI was a big talking point and all the new products featured at their event will include AI built in. And the phones will get 7 years of OS and Security updates.
Everything ships on July 24. For Pre-orders If you use my link below, you can snag $50-$100 off each item plus Samsung is offering really great trade in amounts for previous generations. Pro tip: If you want to snag a watch and have an old watch to trade in, you might get a better deal by ordering the watch in a separate order. If you add it onto checkout while buying a phone, you can get 25% off the accessory, but the site doesn’t give you the trade in options on top of that. If you add it the watch as a separate item, you get the trade in options. So you might be able to get the watch for WAY cheaper than 25% off. Like I got a watch 7 for $50 total after preorder discounts and trading in a Watch6.
